Private Jets - popwerpop band from Sweden - has just released their debut album "Jet Sounds". On November 8 they'll play at the International Pop Overthrow in New York.

·  The BOYS "Punk Rock Anthology" is to be released by Anagram Records on Monday 15 September and will contain 46 tracks, including six previously unreleased demos from 1976-1980. All tracks have been digitally remastered and the double CD will come with in a deluxe 16-page colour booklet featuring notes to every track and a full discography. Gigs: 17 Octer @ ULU, London,UK - 25 October @ Zakk, Dusseldorf, Germany.

·  SQU!RE appear with From The Jam (featuring Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler) & The Question @ Glasshouse, Pomona, CA, USA on 10 October.

·  ANTI PASTI will be playing gigs later this year and early next year. Shows have been agreed in Berlin in February 2009, London 2008, with possible short tours in the US and other european countries

·  The PURPLE HEARTS have reformed. They will be doing one or two gigs later this year. Also next year they will be playing the following scooter rallies -   Scarborough easter 2009 I.O.W 2009 and Camber 2009

·  Jez Bird, the former lead singer of the 80s mod band the LAMBRETTAS, passed away on Wednesday (August 27) following a battle against cancer.

·  The UNDERTONES are happy to announce that new arrangements have been made with Union Square Music for the re-issue of the first four albums. All four albums will be remastered and reissued on the Salvo / Ardeck imprint with bonus tracks and new booklets. The re-issue campaign will also feature a 56 track 2CD anthology including 27 previously unreleased demos, live, session and rehearsal tracks.

·  Last 999 album - Death In Soho will be realise on vinyl on Czech label Papagajuv Hlasatel First press will be 250 black vinyls + 250 color vinyls, part of color vinyls will be in special textile bag sleeve.

·  THE MANIKINS "Crocodiles" distributed in Europe P.Trash Records and USA: Full Breach Kicks

·  The Alturos' 1st CD is now available. Great punk pop gems including covers of the Ramones, the Sweet, the Boys and Paul Collins Beat. Further information:

·  28 years later Pointed Sticks will have a new album album out by December 2008.

·  X RAY SPEX will be playing at the Roundhouse in London on September 6th 2008.

·  The AGGRAVATION' first album - '77 Punk Rock - originally released on Relax-o-Matic Vibrator Records (only 300 copies) re-pressed on P.Trash Rds with a slightly different artwork.

·  Good Vibrations Records the most famous Record shop in Belfast and Ireland will be re opening in Smithfield within the next few weeks.

The CONDORS "Wait For It" (2nd album ) mixes punk and pop. Imagine combination of the Plimsouls meeting up punk bands from 1977. The tempos are pretty midpaced, sometimes getting more energetic, the problem that most of the songs are quite similar aside from a few minor changes in loud/soft dynamics. A good record, though.

Do Anything You Wanna Do" is new book chronicling the history of Eddie and the Hot Rods written by Steve Crancher.

The Cute Lepers debut album "Can't Stand Modern Music" is released in Europe on Damaged Goods. the album is very poppy-punk mix influences from Mod-Pop and New Wave, think the Cars, The Chords, The Jags and The Boys.

·  "Soul Vacation" is the title of the new album from Lukas Scherfig (ex The Movement).

· BUZZCOCKS + CHELSEA at O2 Arena, London on 30 November 08.
